Qualifications

RPS Imaging Scientist Qualifications are available to candidates who can demonstrate a level of achievement in the field. Candidates are required to demonstrate their ability to undertake a programme of work, write reports and papers, work within a team and produce results. Members who acquire an Imaging Scientist Qualification will also receive a Society Distinction.

This event, which is supported by the RPS as a cooperating society, is likely to be of interest to imaging science group members, many of whom take a great interest in colour. The call for papers is now out.

High speed imaging for dynamic testing of materials and structures

Organised jointly by the IOP Applied Physics and Technology Division and DYMAT Association. Co-sponsored by the British Society for Strain Measurement (BSSM), the RPS Imaging Science Group, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Society for Experimental Mechanics, Inc (SEM).
