IMABS and ISJ

Imaging Abstracts (formerly Photographic Abstracts) and The Imaging Science Journal (formerly the Journal of Photographic Science) are published jointly by the RPS and two other publishers, PIRA International (for Imaging Abstracts) and Maney Publishing (for the Imaging Science Journal).

Imaging Abstracts provides unique coverage of the World's literature on all aspects of imaging science and technology. Some 5,000 abstracts are issued each year and include material from both technical journals and patent specifications. Imaging Abstracts is also available online and on CD-ROM, and via Pira's web site. The database currently holds over 120,000 indexed abstracts dating back to 1977, and is updated weekly. ISSN 0896-100X.

The Imaging Science Journal (formerly The Journal of Photographic Science) is the official learned journal of the Royal Photographic Society. It is concerned with research and development in all areas of imaging science and related disciplines and the journal aims to maintain coverage of traditional areas of photographic science while attracting submissions and readers in the new technologies. ISSN 1368-2199.
